HDR in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Traffic Design Coordinator to join a traffic team that delivers forecasting, analysis and design for transportation projects. You will work under the Project Engineer/Manager on diverse assignments, applying modeling tools and CAD software to create safe, efficient traffic systems.

Qualifications

• Ability to multitask while working on many projects at once.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Synchro/Sim Traffic, HCS, AutoCAD and MicroStation.
• EIT or willingness to obtain an EIT for career progression.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a traffic team under the direction of the Project Engineer/Manager on a variety of traffic forecasting, analysis and design needs.
• Conduct operational traffic analysis using modeling tools, from highway capacity software to micro-simulation models.
• Focus on traffic design including accident analysis, signing, striping, signals, lighting and ITS.
• Conduct traffic design using CAD platforms including MicroStation, AutoCAD and Guide Sign software.
• Utilize analysis tools such as HCS, Synchro, VISSIM and Aimsun to support duties.
• Perform other duties as needed.
