Job summary

Florida Department of Transportation is seeking a Traffic Support Specialist in the Transportation Data and Analytics division to help develop, maintain, and assure the quality of traffic data and statistical reporting.

The role involves working with mainframe and Oracle databases, producing ad hoc reports, and supporting interstate studies while ensuring compliance with federal and department standards.

Qualifications

• Six (6) years of professional traffic-related experience or management analysis.
• Post-secondary education can substitute on a year-for-year basis for the experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with development, maintenance, and support of processes that generate annual factors and statistics.
• Handle data extraction from mainframe and update Oracle or other databases; upload to inventories.
• Produce ad hoc reports and support special traffic studies and interagency coordination.
• Ensure data quality, completeness, and compliance with federal and department standards.
