Job summary

• Experience coordinating domestic and international shipments and familiarity with shipping documentation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily domestic and international shipments.
• Schedule truckload, LTL, rail, ocean, and air freight with providers.
• Prepare and review shipping documents including bills of lading.
• Monitor shipment status and communicate delays to customers and internal teams.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and carriers for compliance.
• Track shipments and resolve transportation issues to ensure on-time delivery.
• Audit freight invoices and shipping records for accuracy.
• Maintain shipping records and support process improvements.

Primary Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily domestic and international shipments
• Schedule truckload, LTL, rail, ocean, and air freight with transportation providers
• Prepare and review shipping documentation, including bill of ladings and export documents
• Monitor shipment status and communicate delays or issues with customers and internal departments
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and carriers to ensure compliance with shipping regulations
• Track shipments and resolve transportation issues to ensure timely delivery
• Audit freight invoices and shipping documentation for accuracy
• Maintain accurate shipping records and support continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications

We're looking for candidates who have:

• High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or International Business is a plus)
• 2-3+ years of experience in transportation, logistics, traffic coordination, shipping, or export operations
• Experience coordinating domestic and international shipments
• Working knowledge of bill of ladings, carrier scheduling, freight routing, and shipping documentation
• Experience working with LTL, truckload, rail, ocean, and/or air freight
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word

Preferred Experience

• International export shipping
• Customs documentation and freight forwarding
