Traffic Management LLC in Philadelphia, PA is seeking a Flagger/Traffic Controller to safeguard roadwork zones and guide drivers. You will learn to close roads with cones and barricades, perform two-way flagging, load and transport signs and equipment, and complete reports, with on-call nights and weekend shifts.

Starting hourly rate ranges from $19.50 to $22.75, with bi-annual increases, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for advancement in a fast-paced, safety-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license for 3 years and a clear motor vehicle record.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Available during business hours and able to work nights/weekends when on-call.
• Able to lift 50 lbs and stand 6–12 hours per day.
• English proficiency required for safety coordination.
• Must be able to pass drug test.
• Must be able to work independently and in a team.
• Reliable transportation to and from the work location is required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

Safety is our business! As a Flagger/Traffic Controller you are responsible for various road closures and the safety of those passing by. In this job, you will learn how to close off a road using cones/ barricades and be responsible for two-way flagging. Two-way flagging is using a stop & slow sign to allow the traffic to know when they can pass work zones safely. You will also be responsible for loading trucks and delivering/Picking-up barricades, signs & Traffic Control equipment and complete reports and other duties as necessary.
