Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in traffic control or similar industry.
• Familiarity with MUTCD and UDOT guidelines and traffic control equipment functionality.
• Physical fitness to work long shifts with heavy equipment in any weather conditions, day or night.
• Current valid driver's license
• Mobile phone with cellular data plan
• Drug free

Responsibilities

• Assist traffic control technicians to execute multiple assignments in a day, including site setup, teardown, and maintenance.
• Maintain, load, and transport traffic control equipment via pickup truck, rack truck, or towed trailer.
• Set up traffic control devices according to a traffic control plan and TCT guidance.
• Accurately document job details via mobile app.
• Maintain equipment, including yard organization, storage and setup.
• Occasionally assist in controlling traffic through flagging.
