Job summary

Coastal Elite Pro in Connecticut is seeking a motivated traffic control assistant to help set up cones, signs, and barricades and guide vehicles on site. The role requires standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds, and working outdoors in all weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license.
• Stand, walk and lift up to 40–50 pounds.
• Willingness to work in traffic and varied weather conditions.
• Flexible schedule and punctuality.
• Pass pre-hire screening including drug tests.
• Alertness around moving traffic and respectful interaction.

Responsibilities

• Setting up and taking down cones, signs, and barricades.
• Using stop/slow paddles to guide traffic and monitor site activity.
• Following all safety procedures learned during training.
• Communicating effectively with crew and supervisors.
• Maintaining cleanliness and safety of vehicles and equipment.
• Working outdoors year-round in various weather conditions.
