Job summary

Coastal Elite Pro is seeking a Traffic Safety Protector to work at job sites, guiding traffic and ensuring safety. No prior experience or degree is required; comprehensive training is provided. Work is outdoors in all weather, with potential for night/weekend shifts.

You must be able to stand for long periods and lift 40–50 pounds. A valid driver’s license and safety gear are required; pay starts at $18.50–$19.25/hr with opportunities for raises.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Able to stand, walk and work outdoors for long periods.
• Capable of lifting 40–50 pounds.
• Willing to work in traffic and various weather conditions.
• Flexible schedule and punctuality required.
• Able to pass pre-hire drug screening.
• Alert and respectful around moving traffic and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Setting up and dismantling cones, signs, and barricades.
• Using stop/slow paddles to guide traffic and monitor site activity.
• Adhering to safety protocols learned during training.
• Communicating effectively with crew and supervisors.
• Maintaining vehicles and equipment cleanliness and safety.
