The Traffic Control Technician II role involves installing lane closures, directing traffic, and transporting safety products between job sites. Ideal candidates will have a valid driver’s license, 1–3 years in traffic control, the ability to pass a background check

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift and move up to 70 pounds.
• Ability to read and interpret traffic control plans.
• Willingness to travel statewide with possible overnight stays.
• Must wear required safety equipment and follow safety protocols.
• ATSSA TCT intermediate training completed or willing to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Operate company trucks to transport materials and equipment to job sites.
• Drive MOT vehicle to support projects and sites.
• Drive TMA vehicle to protect workers and work zones.
• Set up/position traffic control devices and signs.
• Monitor work zone safety and maintain orderly sites.
• Complete shop maintenance on equipment as needed.
• Follow all safety rules and company policies.
