Job summary

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License.
• 1-3 years of traffic control experience.
• 2,000 field hours in traffic control.
• Must pass background check including motor vehicle records.
• Must pass a drug test and meet federal DOT requirements.
• Wear safety equipment (boots, hard hat, safety glasses, vest).
• Read plans and ensure plans are implemented and maintained.
• Knowledge of state/federal motor carrier safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Operate trucks to transport materials and equipment to job sites.
• Drive MOT and TMA vehicles to and from projects.
• Set up traffic control devices and signs at work zones.
• Monitor the work zone to ensure safety and proper placement of items.
• Install, remove, and reset delineators, signs, posts, and supports.
• Perform shop maintenance on equipment.
