Job summary

AWP Safety is seeking motivated individuals for a rewarding career as Traffic Control Technicians. This role offers growth without a college degree and supports work in diverse environments across the country.

You will manage vehicular, pedestrian, and bicycle traffic in work zones, review temporary control plans, and coordinate with customers to ensure worker safety. Prior TCT hours or certification and a valid license are required.

Qualifications

• TCT Certification or 2,000+ verifiable hours required.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Excellent verbal and nonverbal communication skills.
• Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.

Responsibilities

• Set up, maintain, and remove traffic control devices per guidelines.
• Maintain a Flagger Station using STOP/SLOW signals.
• Drive company vehicle to transport equipment and team members.
• Communicate by radio with site team.
• Follow all safety procedures and report issues.
• Complete required training within set timeframes.
• Provide on-the-job training and mentorship to Protector.
• Other duties as assigned.
