Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and pass background checks.
• Able to pass a drug test and meet DOT requirements.
• 1–3 years in traffic control with ~2000 field hours preferred.
• Wear safety boots, hard hat, safety glasses, and vest at all times.
• Able to read plans and enforce traffic control plans.
• Willing to travel statewide and work nights/weekends as required.
• Able to lift up to 70 pounds and operate safety equipment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and take down lane closures on state highways and roadways.
• Redirect traffic for workers or survey crews and monitor work zones.
• Assemble, deliver, and pick up safety products from job sites.
• Operate company trucks to transport materials and equipment.
• Drive MOT and TMA vehicles to and from projects.
• Place and manage temporary signs, cones, and delineators.
• Perform shop work and routine maintenance on equipment.
• Follow all safety rules and company policies; work outdoors in all weather.
