Job summary

VPNE is looking for an entry level Traffic Controller to manage safe, efficient traffic flow in construction zones. The role runs Mon-Fri, 8am-4pm, with duties including directing vehicles and pedestrians, setting up cones and barriers, and maintaining safety protocols.

Ideal candidates are 18+ with a valid driver''s license, proficient English communication, and the ability to read and write in English. RMV background check and uniform standards apply.

Responsibilities

• Direct traffic safely and efficiently using hand signals, flags, or other signals.
• Be vigilant for hazards and ensure safety protocols are followed.
• Communicate effectively with drivers, pedestrians, and workers.
• Set up cones, barriers, and traffic control devices.
• Monitor traffic flow and adjust signals to keep traffic moving.
• Follow all safety protocols to prevent accidents.
• Support other garage workers by valeting cars or assisting in different garage roles.
