Job summary

VPNE Parking Solutions LLC seeks an entry-level Traffic Controller to help manage traffic flow around our garages and construction zones.

You will direct vehicles and pedestrians using signals, ensure safety protocols are followed, and support the team by maintaining organization within the garage environment.

Qualifications

• Entry-level position in traffic control.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must read, write and verbally communicate in English.
• You must be 18 years or older and have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Direct traffic safely using hand signals, flags, or other signals.
• Set up cones, barriers, and traffic control devices and ensure visibility.
• Monitor traffic flow and adjust signals to keep traffic moving smoothly.
• Communicate effectively with drivers, pedestrians, and workers.
• Maintain garage organization and oversee keys and cars in the area.

Position Summary

A Traffic Control ler i s responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient traffic flow in construction zones or areas prone to the impact of traffic.

Responsibilities

D irect traffic safely and efficiently, using hand signals, flags, or other signals to guide vehicles and pedestrians through construction sites or around road closures.

A lways be vigilant and aware of potential hazards. They must ensure drivers and pedestrians follow safety protocols and take appropriate precautions to prevent accidents.

Traffic controllers must communicate effectively with drivers, pedestrians, and other workers.

M ay be responsible for setting up cones, barriers, and other traffic control devices , ensur ing these devices are visible to drivers.

Monitoring traffic flow: Traffic controllers must monitor traffic flow to identify potential problems or bottlenecks. They may need to adjust their signals or take other actions to keep traffic moving smoothly.

M ust follow all safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents and ensure their safety.

In some cases, traffic controllers may need to support other workers by valeting cars or stepping into different garage roles when necessary.

Qualifications:

Education Requirements: High School Diploma/GED

Requirements:
