Job summary

VPNE is seeking a Valet Attendant - Traffic Controller in Providence, RI to help manage traffic flow at construction zones and other areas impacted by traffic.

You will direct traffic with hand signals and cones, monitor for hazards, communicate with drivers and pedestrians, and assist with valeting cars or other garage roles as needed. Requirements include being 18+, holding a driver’s license, and fluent English; schedule is Monday to Friday, with two possible shifts.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Direct traffic safely with signals to guide vehicles and pedestrians.
• Identify hazards and enforce safety protocols.
• Communicate effectively with drivers, pedestrians, and workers.
• Set up cones, barriers and traffic devices.
• Monitor traffic flow and adjust signals to prevent bottlenecks.
• Follow all safety regulations.
• Support other workers by valeting cars or filling other garage roles.
