Job summary

Traffic Management in York, PA seeks a Traffic Controller to place, maintain, and remove traffic control operations per MUTCD. You will respond to dispatch calls, coordinate with the dispatcher, and ensure a safe work zone for the public and customers.

You will also set up devices, flag traffic, inspect equipment, and report any unsafe conditions to supervision, contributing to efficient, safe service delivery on all sites.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (or equivalent).
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record; insurable by the company.
• Must achieve 70% or better on pre-employment testing.
• MUTCD knowledge and traffic control setup capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Respond to dispatch calls promptly and maintain contact with the dispatcher.
• Set up traffic control devices (cones, signs, barricades) per MUTCD guidelines.
• Flag traffic and maintain a safe work zone for the public and customers.
• Inspect and maintain equipment and ensure vehicle safety before operation.
