Job summary

AWP Safety, Inc. is seeking Protectors to work at traffic-control job sites in the United States. No experience or degree is required; we provide training and ongoing support with safety as the top priority.

Your daily tasks include setting up cones, signs, and barricades, guiding traffic with a stop/slow paddle, and staying alert in all weather conditions. Shifts may include nights, weekends, or emergencies, and you may stand 8–12 hours per shift.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required.
• Able to stand, walk, and work outside for long periods.
• Willing to lift 40–50 pounds.
• Flexible schedule; punctual to every shift.
• Must pass pre-hire drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Set up cones, signs, and barricades; remove equipment after shifts.
• Direct traffic with stop/slow paddle and monitor site activity.
• Follow safety rules taught in training.
• Communicate with crew and supervisor.
• Work outdoors year-round in all weather.
• Possible night, weekend, or emergency shifts.
• Stand or walk 8–12 hours per shift.
