Qualifications

• FDOT Advanced MOT/TTC certification required or obtainable before start.
• Experience in road construction traffic control with supervisory responsibilities.
• Knowledge of MUTCD standards and FDOT traffic control requirements.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and traffic control layouts.
• Willing to work outdoors in all weather, including nights and weekends.
• Reliable transportation to main yard in Citra or job sites.
• Team-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Review MOT layouts per FDOT/MUTCD standards.
• Oversee setup, maintenance, removal of signs, cones, barricades, arrow boards, and other devices.
• Inspect work zones daily for proper placement and condition of devices.
• Coordinate MOT plan changes with foremen and management as project phases progress.
• Train and supervise flaggers and crew on procedures and safety.
• Serve as point of contact for MOT questions from inspectors, owners, or law enforcement.
• Maintain MOT documentation, logs, and inspection records.
• Keep job sites OSHA-compliant and safe.
