Job summary

J&D Traffic Solutions Inc. is seeking a dependable Foreman to join our team in King George, VA. You will lead traffic-control crews to ensure safe movement of traffic around work zones in accordance with safety regulations and Department of Transportation rules.

A valid VDOT intermediate work zone traffic control certification and a clean driving record are required. This full-time role involves coordinating with client crews, performing daily inspections of trucks and equipment, and completing

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Background check required.
• Reliable and on time with a good attitude and work ethic.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Lift up to 50 lbs and perform standing, lifting and grasping for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise traffic control crews.
• Set up, maintain and remove traffic control devices.
• Ensure work zones are set up per standards.
• Conduct daily truck and equipment inspections.
• Ensure all crew members follow safety procedures.
• Communicate daily with clients’ crews at the job site.
• Address safety concerns and report issues to management.
• Complete required daily paperwork and documentation.
• Ensure crew adherence to J&D Traffic Solutions policies.
