Job summary

AWP Safety is hiring Protectors to work at various job sites with training provided. You will set up cones and signage, guide traffic with a stop/slow paddle, and follow safety rules. Expect outdoor work year-round, with shift flexibility including nights and weekends.

A valid driver’s license and ability to lift 40–50 pounds are required. Paid training and a traffic safety certificate accompany the hourly pay rates of $19.50–$20.25, with opportunities for pay increases in the first year and

Qualifications

• Able to stand, walk, and work outside for long periods.
• Flexible schedule; show up on time, every shift.
• Must pass pre-hire screening, including a drug test (safety sensitive)

Responsibilities

• Setting up cones, signs, and barricades and taking traffic control equipment down.
• Using a stop/slow paddle to guide traffic and monitor activity.
• Following all safety rules taught in training.
• Communicating with crew and supervisor.
• Helping keep vehicles and equipment clean and safe.
• Working outside all year, in all weather.
• Shifts may include nights, weekends, or emergency work.
