Job summary

AWP Safety is hiring a Protector to join its traffic management team with on-site work at various job sites. You’ll set up cones, signs, and barricades, guide traffic with a stop/slow paddle, and help keep equipment safe. Training is provided; no prior experience needed.

Expect outdoor work in all weather, flexible shifts, and opportunities for advancement. Compensation is hourly, starting around $17.23–$18.07, with pay increases in your first year and paid training including a traffic safety

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Able to stand, walk, and work outside long shifts.
• Able to lift 40–50 pounds.
• Willing to work in traffic and changing weather.
• Flexible schedule; punctual to every shift.
• Must pass pre-hire screening, including a drug test.

Responsibilities

• Setting up cones, signs, and barricades at job sites.
• Using a stop/slow paddle to guide traffic and monitor site activity.
• Following safety rules taught in training.
• Communicating with crew and supervisor.
• Helping keep vehicles and equipment clean and safe.
