Job summary

AWP Safety, Inc. is hiring as a Protector to work at job sites across the U.S. No experience or degree required; comprehensive training is provided. The role focuses on setting up traffic controls, guiding traffic with a stop/slow paddle, and maintaining safety at all times.

You will stand or walk for long shifts, interact with crew and supervisors, and adapt to outdoor weather conditions. Shifts may include nights, weekends, or emergencies.

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand, walk, and work outside for long periods.
• Must pass pre-hire screening, including a drug test (safety sensitive role).
• Valid driver's license and ability to work outdoors in varying weather.

Responsibilities

• Set up cones, signs, and barricades and take equipment down.
• Use stop/slow paddle to guide traffic and monitor job site activity.
• Follow safety rules taught in training and communicate with crew and supervisor.
• Keep vehicles and equipment clean and safe, working outside year-round.
