Job summary

AWP Safety, Inc. is hiring Protectors to join our traffic management team. Youll set up cones, signs, and barricades, guide traffic with a stop/slow paddle, and keep safety at the forefront while working outdoors in all weather.

No experience or degree is required, as we provide training and support to help you build a career. Shifts may include nights, weekends, or emergency work, and you may stand 8 to 12 hours per shift. We supply safety gear; you bring steel-toe boots.

Qualifications

• No experience or degree required; training is provided.
• Must pass pre-hire screening including a drug test.
• Able to lift 40–50 pounds and stand/walk for long periods.
• Willing to work outdoors in varying weather.

Responsibilities

• Set up cones, signs, and barricades and remove equipment.
• Direct traffic using stop/slow paddle and monitor site activity.
• Follow safety rules taught in training.
• Communicate with crew and supervisor.
• Keep vehicles and equipment clean and safe.
• Work outdoors year-round; shifts may include nights or weekends.
• Stand or walk 8–12 hours per shift.
