Job summary

AWP Safety is seeking Protectors to support traffic management at job sites. No experience or degree is required as complete training is provided. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and reliable attendance.

Daily duties include setting up and taking down traffic control devices, guiding traffic with a stop/slow paddle, and communicating with the crew and supervisor. You must be able to work 8–12 hours outdoors in all weather, with some night or weekend shifts possible.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license.
• Willing to stand and work outside in variable weather.

Responsibilities

• Set up cones, signs, and barricades and remove traffic control equipment after use.
• Guide traffic with a stop/slow paddle and monitor job site activity.
• Follow all safety rules taught in training.
• Communicate with crew and supervisor about site conditions.
• Help keep vehicles and equipment clean and safe; work outdoors year‑round.
