Job summary

RoadSafe Traffic Systems seeks a Traffic Control Flagger to direct traffic around construction sites and work zones, ensuring public and worker safety. The role requires setup and takedown of signs, cones, and barricades, clear hand signals, and steady communication with the crew.

The position is non-exempt, full-time, with a $3,000 sign-on bonus. Training is in York, PA during the first week, with occasional overnight travel and weekend work as projects demand.

Qualifications

• Must pass criminal background check, including motor vehicle records (MVR).
• Must successfully pass a drug test and meet federal DOT requirements.
• Provide effective communication with contractors and internal teams while delivering customer service.
• Willingness to travel with occasional overnight stays and work nights/weekends as required.

Responsibilities

• Set up signs, cones, and other traffic control devices around work areas to divert traffic.
• Effectively manage traffic flow with stop/slow paddles.
• Maintain clear communication with team members using two-way radios.
• Drive company vehicles to transport traffic control equipment to and from job sites.
