Fastenal Company in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a full-time Traffic Assistant Manager to lead the Traffic team, manage routes, and ensure safe, efficient operations at the IN100 Distribution Center. The role includes driving responsibilities and a night shift schedule.

Full-time Shift(s): MON TUE WED THU FRI 10:00pm - 6:00am

OVERVIEW: Working as Full-time Traffic Assistant Manager, you will assist in managing the Traffic department. You will motivate and provide leadership to team members to ensure day-to-day operations are completed safely, accurately, efficiently and on time. RESPONSIBILITIES

REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

• Possess a current full valid driver's license issued in the country where the job is located (including successful completion of any applicable graduated license program for your state or province) as well as the ability to meet our driving record requirements to use a company vehicle, as needed
• Possess relevant work experience
• Proficient written and oral communication skills
• Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite
• Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
• Demonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgency
• Demonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities
• Highly motivated, self directed and customer service oriented

PREFERRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

• Possess or are currently in progress of obtaining a Commercial Driver's License
• Prior experience operating a forklift
• Possess prior leadership or management work experience
