Full-time Shift(s): MON TUE WED THU FRI 9:00am - 5:00pm

OVERVIEW:

Working as Full-time Traffic Administration, you will be responsible for monitoring the day-to-day operations of the Transportation department. This is an entry-level position based out of our distribution center located at 1570 W Stearns Rd, Bartlett, IL 60103.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Monitoring the effective and efficient daily operations of the Traffic department
• Communicating internally and externally by phone and email
• Maintaining files, documents, paperwork and data entry
• Managing budgets and performance metrics
• Complying with safety regulations
• Assisting with scheduling drivers and securing loads
• Assisting in maintaining files, documents, paperwork and data entry
• Assisting in managing budgets and performance metrics
• Operate a Fastenal vehicle and run truck routes, Non-CDL and/or CDL, as needed

REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

• 18 years of age or older
• Possess a current full valid driver's license issued in the country where the job is located (including successful completion of any applicable graduated license program for your state or province) as well as the ability to meet our driving record requirements to use a company vehicle, as needed
• Proficient written and oral communication skills
• Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite
• Demonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities
• Highly motivated, self directed and customer service oriented
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule

PREFERRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

• Possess or are currently in progress of obtaining a Commercial Driver's License

COMPENSATION:

The base pay range for this position is $31,200 - 40,000. In addition to base pay, this position is also eligible for a bonus and/or commission.
