Fastenal Co. is recruiting a Product Handling Manager for the Indianapolis, IN Distribution Center. You will supervise the Product Handling department, coordinate scheduling, restock product, and move inventory across the DC, ensuring timely goals and safety compliance.

The role requires leadership experience, proficiency with warehouse systems and MS Office, and a hands-on approach to data-driven improvements. Shift options include morning schedules in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualificações

• At least 1 year of leadership or management experience.

OVERVIEW

Working as Full-time Product Handling Manager, you will manage the Product Handling department. The Product Handling department is responsible for consolidating product, restocking locations and moving inventory within the distribution center. You will provide supervision and leadership to a team of employees. You will be responsible for the overall function of the department including short term and long term goals that pertain to quality, productivity and time management. REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

• Possess at least 1 year of prior leadership or management work experience
• Knowledge of computer operations, including warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office Applications
• Proficient written and oral communication skills
• Highly motivated, self directed and customer service oriented
• Exhibit strong problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision making skills
• Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
• Demonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities
• Demonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgency

PREFERRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

• Possess a current full valid driver's license issued in the country where the job is located (including successful completion of any applicable graduated license program for your state or province) as well as the ability to meet our driving record requirements to use a company vehicle, as needed
• Prior experience operating a forklift
• Prior warehouse work experience
