Job summary

NJF Global Holdings Ltd is seeking a Technology Operations Engineer to join our trading infrastructure team. The role focuses on maintaining the reliability and availability of real-time trading systems, with exposure to both operational excellence and automation initiatives.

You will monitor production systems, diagnose issues, and collaborate with engineering, trading, and risk teams to keep the platform performing at high availability. A rotating shift covers US and Asia trading hours.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Linux and Windows production environments.
• 1–3 years of experience supporting or administering production systems.
• Experience with Python scripting to automate tasks.
• Familiarity with Git and configuration management tools (Salt, Puppet, Chef).
• Exposure to monitoring platforms (Prometheus, Grafana, Zabbix, Nagios).
• Experience with Jira or similar ticketing systems.
• Ability to diagnose complex infrastructure and automation issues.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with technical and non-technical partners.

Responsibilities

• Monitor production trading systems and respond to issues in real time.
• Investigate and resolve infrastructure and application problems.
• Support trading and risk teams to ensure system effectiveness.
• Manage production changes and communicate system status.
• Automate deployments across Linux and Windows environments.
• Develop internal tools to improve efficiency and reduce manual work.
• Improve monitoring, deployment, and operational workflows.
