Job summary

Group One Trading seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead planning and execution of technology initiatives across its proprietary trading platform and infrastructure.

You will collaborate with software engineers, systems engineers, traders, and business stakeholders to convert complex objectives into actionable plans, maintain focus on priorities, and drive projects to completion. Growth opportunities include earning a Series 57 qualification and contributing to roadmaps.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of project management in software development or trading tech
• Ability to translate business and technical objectives into clear requirements and milestones
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple initiatives
• Experience managing software development backlogs and planning
• Excellent written and verbal communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to establish accountability across teams without direct reporting authority
• Experience with Jira or comparable project tracking systems

Responsibilities

• Drive planning and execution of technology initiatives across our platform and infrastructure
• Translate objectives into clear requirements, milestones, dependencies and deliverables
• Maintain focus on the highest-priority work and drive projects through completion
• Facilitate planning, prioritization, and cross-team coordination
• Own multiple initiatives and manage risks, dependencies, and escalations
• Study for and obtain Series 57 Securities Trader Representative qualification
• Contribute to longer-term technology roadmap planning
