Kalshi Trading is seeking a backend engineer to build and maintain the infrastructure that powers our trading operations. You will influence the architecture, design robust APIs, and own components from data processing to order management.

We value engineers who can write concurrent code, work with Postgres, and are comfortable in AWS, with proficiency in Golang, Rust, or C++. You’ll join a small, ambitious team shaping the future of prediction markets.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of professional backend engineering experience.
• Experience building trading systems including order management.
• Experience with high-performance event-driven architectures and APIs.
• Experience writing concurrent code.
• Strong relational DB experience (PostgreSQL).
• Familiarity with AWS stack (RDS, ECS).
• Proficiency in Golang, Rust, or C++.
