Reactive Markets Limited in the United States is seeking an Operations Engineer to ensure the stability, performance, and availability of the Reactive trading platform in production. This hands-on role focuses on production systems, infrastructure, and trading workflows rather than client relationship management.

You’ll own Level 1/2 incident response, configuration delivery, and onboarding support across regional sessions.

Qualificações

• 2+ years in operations or production support within trading or FinTech.
• Familiar with FIX protocol, ideally in FX or electronic trading environments.
• Understanding of trading infrastructure, networking, and low-latency connectivity.
• Experience with monitoring and alerting tools in live production environments.
• Linux fundamentals — our platform runs on Linux throughout.
• Comfortable with configuration-as-code — Git, YAML, and changes that are reviewed.
• Scripting and automation (Bash, Python) used daily.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor live trading systems across regions and asset classes.
• Own Level 1 and Level 2 response, triage alerts, runbook actions, investigate, and coordinate incidents.
• Participate in failover and disaster-recovery readiness.
• Drive root-cause analysis and post-incident reviews to improve tooling and runbooks.
