Job summary

Franklin Templeton is seeking a Sales & Trading Associate for its Canvas team in Stamford, CT, supporting the Managed Options Strategies (FT-MOST) group. The role involves interaction with Co-CIOs, Client Portfolio Managers, Traders, and distribution personnel across the firm.

You will assist with growth initiatives, option overlay operations, and collaboration with custodians and advisors, ensuring accurate trade settlement and reporting.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in wealth management client service, trading, trade settlement, reconciliation, and trade break resolution.
• Bachelor's degree in finance/economics/accounting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with Franklin Managed Options' senior leadership to facilitate, and execute, operational components of growth-oriented equity derivatives asset management business.
• Help facilitate and execute internal sales initiatives related to FT MOST's growing option overlay business by interacting with advisors, client associates, and custodial partners.
• Support the trading/portfolio managers in implementation and settlement of listed option transactions.
• Collaborate with Portfolio Managers, Analysts, Compliance Officers, technology, and Trade Support.
• Support sales personnel with periodic analyses; prepare presentations and work with partners on sales and implementation questions.
• As needed, coordinate with internal and external technology and custodial partners to support operations.
• Maintain standardized record keeping practices and compliance with evolving regulations.
• Perform daily reconciliation, quarterly and on-demand performance reporting, security simulation analysis.
