Job summary

NorthCoast Asset Management in Stamford, CT seeks a SMA & ETF Trading Associate – Option Strategies to join our team in a trade execution role. You will build, execute and allocate trades across 7,000 client accounts and maintain trade data for analysis.

The role emphasizes automation using Visual Basic and Python, cross-training with operations to reconcile client portfolio data, and ensuring accurate results for composites. This is an in-office position five days a week in Stamford.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Ability to handwrite 200 lines of code in Python.
• Proactive communication and high energy level.
• Experience with ETF and separately managed account strategies.
• High attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Intermediate knowledge of Excel; training available on SS&C GWP/Visual Basic/Python.

Responsibilities

• Build, execute and allocate trades across 7,000 client accounts.
• Research and resolve trade and position breaks with executing brokers.
• Review client-specific restrictions.
• Maintain trade execution data for TCA analysis and composite performance.
• Develop automation for operations/trading using Visual Basic and Python.
