Job summary

Pioneer Wealth Management Group in Austin, TX is seeking a detail-oriented Trading Specialist to support the Investment Policy Committee and advisors in implementing investment strategies across client portfolios. The role focuses on trade execution, portfolio rebalancing, tax-loss harvesting reviews, and cash management to align with client objectives and firm guidelines.

Qualifications

• Series 65 license ( CFP/CFA in progress acceptable)
• 3–5 years in trading or investment operations
• Experience executing trades and rebalancing portfolios
• Understanding Schwab and cash management concepts
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills
• Ability to prioritize and work in a hybrid environment

Responsibilities

• Execute and monitor trades: verify order accuracy and monitor settlement
• Implement portfolio strategies as directed by IPC and advisors
• Review accounts for tax-loss harvesting opportunities and cash needs
• Manage cash balances, deposits, projected cash flows, and distributions
• Maintain trading systems and verify account restrictions and positions
• Document portfolio reviews and trading activity per firm policies
• Collaborate with IPC, advisors and client service to explain trading activity
• Develop and update trading policies, procedures, and reporting
