- Review portfolios for opportunities: Evaluate accounts for tax-loss harvesting, opportunistic rebalancing, available cash to invest, and cash generation needs.
- Manage cash and liquidity: Monitor cash balances, deposits, projected cash flows, and upcoming distributions to support timely investment and withdrawal activity.
- Maintain trading systems: Update trading software for strategy changes and cash needs, verify account restrictions and positions, and review assigned risk reports.
- Support compliance and documentation: Maintain accurate trading records and document portfolio reviews and actions according to firm policies and compliance procedures.
- Collaborate across the firm: Communicate with the IPC, advisors and client service team to explain trading activity, answer questions, and support a consistent client experience.
- Improve processes: Help develop and update trading policies, procedures, reporting, and workflows.
- Stay informed: Maintain awareness of relevant market and economic developments and the IPC’s investment views and guidance.
