Job summary

SFMG is seeking a Trading Associate to support traders and advisors in executing and recommending various trades for clients. The role emphasizes attention to detail, strong communication with advisors, and proficiency with trading and portfolio systems.

Ideal candidates will have 0-3 years in financial services, a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics, and familiarity with Excel; Python and VBA are a plus. This is a full-time role located in Plano, TX with telework eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics preferred.
• 0-3 years financial service or relevant experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; knowledge of Python and VBA is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain data integrity within portfolio management and trading software, including accounts, portfolios and settings.
• Support flow of all trade requests: execution, allocation, verification and reconciliation.
• Assist with rebalancing, cash spend/raise efforts, and reporting for advisors.
