Blackstone seeks a motivated Trading Assistant to support a fast-paced investment team across trade execution, portfolio management, market monitoring, and operational workflows. The ideal candidate has 2+ years buy-side experience, strong market awareness, and a proactive mindset to work alongside portfolio managers and traders.

You will coordinate with operations, compliance, and brokers, handling time-sensitive tasks and contributing to investment processes in a dynamic trading environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of buy-side trading support experience.
• Strong market awareness across equities, fixed income, derivatives, FX, and multi-asset strategies.
• Ability to work under pressure with precision.
• Collaborates across operations and compliance teams.

Responsibilities

• Support traders and portfolio managers with daily execution workflows across asset classes.
• Monitor live markets, news, and economic releases during trading hours.
• Assist with trade booking, allocation, reconciliation, and settlement.
• Maintain risk, P&L, and position reports.
• Ensure trade compliance with mandates and regulations.
• Coordinate with brokers, custodians, operations, and middle-office teams.
• Prepare pre-trade and post-trade analytics, including liquidity and exposure.
• Assist with trading models, dashboards, and market-monitoring tools.
• Contribute to tech-driven process improvements to reduce risk.
• Support ad hoc research for investment teams.
