Job summary

The Blackstone Group L.P. is seeking an Executive Assistant to support a Senior Managing Director within the Tactical Opportunities Group.

The role manages highly complex calendars, coordinates domestic and international travel, and serves as a trusted gatekeeper for internal and external stakeholders. You will prepare briefing materials, assist with meeting preparation, and handle detailed expense reports while maintaining utmost confidentiality and professionalism.

Qualifications

Job Description

The Executive Assistant role entails working to provide support to a Senior Managing Director and other senior leaders within the Tactical Opportunities Group. The responsibilities of the Executive Assistant include: Managing highly complex and dynamic calendars, including scheduling internal and external meetings, confirming appointments, and partnering closely with other assistants to ensure seamless business coordination. Serving as a trusted gatekeeper and primary point of contact for all internal and external stakeholders, always maintaining professionalism and responsiveness. Coordinating meetings and calls across multiple stakeholders and time zones, while adapting quickly to changing priorities and last‑minute adjustments. Supporting meeting preparation through research, document management, and organization of briefing materials. Participation in select internal meetings to help coordinate and maintain business pipeline. Arranging and managing intensive domestic and international travel, including maintaining detailed travel spreadsheets and preparing comprehensive trip packets. Providing detailed itineraries and ensuring all travel logistics are planned, communicated, and executed flawlessly. Preparing, reviewing, and submitting complex expense reports with a high degree of accuracy, ensuring full compliance with company policies. Assisting with occasional personal scheduling where business and personal commitments intersect, particularly related to travel coordination. Supporting a wide range of ad‑hoc and special projects as needed.

Qualifications

Comfort interacting with senior management on a regular basis. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel. A willingness to learn and stay current with emerging technologies and tools. Familiarity with Concur or similar expense management systems.

Expected annual base salary range: $120,000 - $165,000. Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications and job location. For roles located outside of the US, please disregard the posted salary bands as these roles will follow a separate compensation process based on local market comparables.
