Job summary

Carisbrook Partners seeks a Trade Assistant to support Front Office-facing operations in New York. You will work with Portfolio Managers and Traders to capture and book trades, while assisting risk and P&L analysis and ensuring proper trade settlements.

The ideal candidate has 1+ years in a Trade Assistant or related front/middle office role with strong product knowledge across Fixed Income and Rates. Collaboration with Operations will be key to success.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of Trade Assistant or Front Office facing Middle Office/Trade Support experience.
• Strong understanding of trade capture and trade booking.
• Solid product knowledge across Fixed Income and Rates desks.

Responsibilities

• Support Fixed Income and Rates trading desks across a broad range of products.
• Ensure accurate capture and booking of trades, and support risk and P&L analysis.
• Collaborate with Operations to ensure trades settle correctly.
• Work closely with Portfolio Managers and Traders on a daily basis.

Our client, is a well-established Global Hedge Fund looking to grow their Trade Assistant team in New York. This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-performing hedge fund in a broad, front office-facing role, working directly with Portfolio Managers and Traders that offers strong long term progression.

In this role, you will be responsible for supporting Fixed Income and Rates trading desks across a broad range of products. Working closely with Portfolio Managers and Traders on a daily basis, you will ensure the accurate capture and booking of trades, support risk and P&L. Additionally you will collaborate with the Operations team to ensure trades are settled correctly.

The ideal candidate will have 1+ years' of experience in a Trade Assistant or Front Office facing Middle Office, Trade Support or Operations role gained from either a buy-side or sell-side firm. You will need to have a strong understanding of trade capture and trade booking and strong product knowledge.
