Job summary

ConocoPhillips is seeking a Graduate Analyst, Trading Analytics for 2027 to join its Strategy, Analytics & Portfolio Optimization team. The program offers rotations (6–18 months each) across market analytics, economics and quantitative analytics for trading, marketing and risk decisions, with on-site assignments in Houston, TX.

Applicants should be seniors or graduate students with a quantitative degree and strong Excel skills, plus exposure to Python, R, SQL, or similar tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, Data Science, Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Business, or other related quantitative/technical field.
• Current college senior or graduate student.
• Expected graduation date Fall 2026 through Summer 2027.
• GPA 3.25+ preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support market analytics, economics and quantitative analytics work streams for trading decisions.
• Participate in rotation-based development program with evaluations after each rotation.
• Collaborate with team on data analysis, modeling and visualization tasks using Python, R, SQL and Excel.
