Qualifications

• Understand and follow oral and written instructions.
• Use standard hand tools and equipment common to the structural trades.
• Knowledge of hazards of mechanical and electrical building equipment; tools and equipment used in maintenance.
• Relate well with others (customers, co-workers, supervisors).
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair building structural problems and maintain related components (windows, doors, walls, trim, floors).
• Support painters, carpenters, masons, and floor cover installers in their work assignments.
• Prepare work related documents (work orders, vouchers, reports).
• Communicate via phone and in person to coordinate work.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
