Ashurst Perkins Coie US LLP is seeking a collaborative, detail-oriented Trademark Paralegal Assistant to support a leading Trademark, Copyright, Internet & Advertising team. You will assist with clearance and prosecution of U.S.

and foreign trademark and copyright matters, maintaining records and assisting with documentation for attorney review. Ideal candidates have basic Word/Excel skills and can manage multiple assignments while communicating effectively under pressure in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.

• Exposure to trademark and copyright prosecution or TTAB is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Develop knowledge of USPTO rules and procedures as they relate to trademark prosecution.
• Assist with the preparation of U.S. trademark prosecution documents for attorney review and comment.
• Participate in training in U.S. and international trademark and copyright issues.
• Maintain accurate and timely daily time entries in accordance with the firm's time-entry protocols, policies, and best practices.
• Communicate proactively with attorneys, clients, and team members regarding assignments, deadlines, and status updates.

At Ashurst Perkins Coie US LLP, our people are our greatest asset. We're looking for a collaborative, detail-oriented Trademark Paralegal Assistant to join our Trademark, Copyright, Internet & Advertising team and help deliver an exceptional employee experience.

In this role, you will support attorneys in the clearance and prosecution of U.S. and foreign trademark and copyright matters, including searches, enforcement, and due diligence. As a member of the firm's professional support staff team, you will also help promote and maintain the goodwill and reputation of the firm while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and confidentiality.

What You'll Do

• Update and maintain electronic records.

• Develop knowledge of USPTO rules and procedures as they relate to trademark prosecution.
• Assist with the preparation of U.S. trademark prosecution documents for attorney review and comment.

This position may be filled in the following locations. The listed compensation range reflects the typical pay for this role, though it is rare for new hires to receive an offer at the top of the range. Actual compensation may vary depending on experience, skills, market conditions, and internal equity.

Seattle compensation range: $44,460 - $62,670 annually

Denver compensation range: $42,150 - $59,410 annually
