Job summary

DRW, based in Chicago, is seeking a Trade Support Specialist to provide middle office support to trading desks. This role involves operational and technical support for equity options trading and requires a strong knowledge of derivatives.

The ideal candidate should have 2-3 years of related experience, a bachelor's degree in a quantitative field, and competence in Python and Version Control systems. Competitive base salary and benefits package including health insurance and 401k are offered.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in front office, middle office, back office, or risk management roles.
• Proven experience automating workflows using Python.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and analyze problems.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational and technical support for equity options trading desks.
• Trade capture for futures, equities, and index options.
• Daily P&L calculation and substantiation.
• Act as process owner for current functionality.

Skills

Interest in equities and derivatives

Experience with Version Control

Proficiency in Git

Knowledge of Python

Familiarity with Cron

Understanding of Linux

Education

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, finance, economics, math or equivalent
