United Therapeutics (Nasdaq: UTHR) develops treatments for rare, deadly diseases, founded in 1996 by a family seeking a cure for pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH). We have six FDA-approved therapies and a pipeline for additional treatments for PAH and pulmonary fibrosis (PF). We aim to create manufactured organs to address the shortage of transplantable organs, eliminating waiting lists and curing end-stage organ diseases.

Who you are

You have extensive experience in Trade, Biotech, and/or Specialty Pharmacy, with skills in account management, contract negotiation, and data analytics. You thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and are eager to support major accounts while partnering with internal teams like Market Access, GP, Sales & Marketing, and Patient Relations.

The Trade Relations Manager role involves:
  • Supporting access to United Therapeutics' products through coordination of SPS and channel activities.
  • Leading and coaching UTC Field Sales Representatives and Management on SPS and supply channel inquiries.
  • Participating in quarterly business reviews and ad-hoc meetings with SPS.
  • Maintaining and auditing existing commercial programs and analyzing related data.
  • Reviewing distributor inventory trends and purchase orders.
  • Analyzing issues affecting product pull-through and supporting resolution efforts.
  • Collaborating with UTC departments and SPS for educational and program deployment activities.
  • Managing approval processes for SPS educational materials and coordinating program rollouts.
  • Supporting internal departments to ensure alignment with SPS obligations.
  • Assisting with SPS monitoring of adverse event reporting.
  • Supporting external vendors and contributing to strategic business decisions.
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in business or related field.
  • 8+ years of relevant experience, preferably in Account Management, Sales, or Biotech.
  • Ability to build strategic relationships with Specialty Pharmacy and other key stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with PC or MAC and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to travel up to 30%.
Preferred Qualifications
  • PAH experience.
  • Exposure to SPS contracting.
