Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company LLC, through WECTEC Staffing Services, seeks a Trade Reconciliation & Compliance Analyst for a 6-month contract. You will support SOX compliance across natural gas, power, renewables, and capital management desks, administering SOX workflows for contracts and amendments.

Responsibilities include end-of-day recaps, VaR monitoring, and broker statement reconciliation, with daily P/L and pricing info provided to management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting is preferred.
• Experience in creating and automating ad-hoc Excel reports using macros.
• Ability to balance analysis with clear communication and problem-solving ideas and present solutions to management.

Responsibilities

• Capture trades into SOX Application and run end-of-day recaps and reports.
• Verify positions and monitor daily Value at Risk and other risk measures.
• Reconcile broker and external statements related to transactions.
• Provide management with daily Profit and Loss and pricing information.
• Handle Electronic Funds Sources and other clearing transactions.
• Conduct quantitative and qualitative research for small to medium projects.
• Support process design and improvements and collaborate with IT.

About the role:

We're looking for a Trade Reconciliation & Compliance Analyst on behalf of our client. This is a 6-months contract assignment.(W-2) You will support trade reconciliation and SOX compliance operations across natural gas, power, renewables, and capital management desks at one of the largest energy companies. You will be the administer of SOX compliance workflows for contracts and amendments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Capture trades into SOX Application and execute the end-of-day recaps and reports.
• Verify Positions, monitors daily Value at Risk and other risk related measures.
• Reconcile broker and other external statements associated with transaction.
• Need to provide management with daily Profit and Loss and pricing information.
• Need to handle Electronic Funds Sources and other clearing transactions.
• Conduct quantitative and qualitative research to support small to medium special projects.
• Help with process design and modification for continuous business improvement
• Support the development and execution as need for the trade capture platform in close collaboration with IT Team.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors preferably Accounting Major
• Excel based ad-hoc reports development and automate them using macro as needed
• Must be able to balance analysis with clear communication and problem solving ideas
• Must be able to communicate the proposed solutions to management.
