You will coordinate union-related processes and collaborate with project leaders to manage onboarding, time tracking, and performance records.

The role emphasizes HR coordination, audits, and disciplined documentation, with limited travel and a strong focus on safety and compliance on construction sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of related experience or equivalent.
• Construction experience and knowledge of Union operations.
• Understanding of business and construction trade operations.
• Knowledgeable of Human Resources functions and able to interpret company policies and procedures.
• Maintain confidential information.
• Approachable and ability to interact with all employee levels, management, and stakeholders.
• Active listening skills, proactive, responsive, and with strong follow‑up practices.
• Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and timely documentation.
• Professional written and clear verbal communication skills.
• Engage in effective communication to direct and influence others that are not direct reports.
• Limited travel.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate jobsite workforce administrative duties under SPO Trades Manager.
• Coordinate workforce needs with jobsite superintendents and SPO Operations Manager and SPO Trades Manager.
• Assist with Talent Acquisition: review applications, interview scheduling, and offers.
• Coordinate onboarding and first day for Trades employees, including time-tracking setup.
• Maintain records for audits and timekeeping.
• Perform duties related to apprenticeship, training, and development.
• Manage logistics for prefab activities, fleets, and tool crib.
• Oversee or assist with vendor invoices and payments for equipment and labor.
