Job summary

Gold Search Solutions is seeking a financial operations professional to investigate and resolve operational discrepancies, ensure accurate trade blotter records, and support governance through daily reconciliations.

You will partner with internal teams and external providers to analyze data, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions while maintaining tight controls and service levels.

Qualifications

• Experience in financial operations and data reconciliation.
• Ability to investigate discrepancies and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Strong governance and control environment experience.
• Experience with front-office data and trade blotter accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Work with internal partners and external providers to investigate and resolve operational discrepancies and data exceptions.
• Ensure front office colleagues have accurate trade blotter and desk records.
• Review exception reports and identify root causes to escalate and resolve within deadlines.
• Run daily reconciliations across cash, transactions, positions, valuations, and P&L data to align systems and data sources.
• Support the preparation and distribution of operational reporting and trend analysis.
• Analyze data from internal records and external providers to flag inconsistencies and propose corrective actions.
• Adhere to controls, procedures, and governance standards to support risk management.
• Validate supporting data and reconciliation results for accuracy in reporting.
• Monitor reconciliation activities and service levels to identify and close issues timely.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to resolve discrepancies and document findings and actions.
• Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, reduce manual processing, and increase automation.
• Collaborate with technology teams and external vendors to support system improvements and issue resolution.
• Perform reconciliations of transaction, position, and valuation data across instruments to ensure complete and aligned records across platforms.
