Job summary

Kerr Dental in California seeks a Trade Marketing Manager to develop and execute marketing plans that support distributor partners and drive sales-out growth. You will collaborate with dealer leaders, craft marketing materials, and manage programs to maximize impact across channels.

You will synthesize ROI, sell-out, market share, and budget variance insights to guide strategic decisions, oversee budgets, and monitor KPIs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or 4+ years’ experience interacting with distribution partners in marketing or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of Marketing experience within distribution.
  • Advanced Experience in MS Office, Tableau or other BI or data tools.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute marketing strategies by devising and implementing plans to support distributor partners in achieving sales-out growth.
  • Collaborate with dealer partners by conducting regular meetings with sales and marketing leaders to ensure effective marketing funnel execution.
  • Manage the creation and development of marketing deliverables, including creative content, sales aids, and promotional content.
  • Deploys the channel marketing and program budget to maximize ROI and drive sell-out growth.
  • Monitor and report on key performance metrics, such as sales, ROI, and market share.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key contacts within distributor marketing and product management.
  • Coordinate and participate in distributor trade shows and other marketing events.
  • Gather VOC feedback on industry trends and best practices through competitive analysis.
  • Ensure that all marketing activities comply with regulatory and legal requirements.
  • Conduct training sessions for internal sales teams and dealer partners’ teams, highlighting selling points and differentiators.

Primary Duties And Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute marketing strategies by devising and implementing marketing plans and programs, to support distributor partners in achieving sales-out growth targets.
  • Collaborate with dealer Partners by conducting regular meetings with sales and marketing leaders of dealer partners to ensure effective marketing funnel execution and explore opportunities for sales expansion.
  • Manage the creation and development of marketing deliverables, including creative content, sales aids, and promotional content.
  • Deploys the channel marketing & program budget to maximize ROI and drive sell-out growth.
  • Monitor and report on key performance metrics, such as sales, ROI, and market share.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key contacts within distributor marketing and product management departments
  • Coordinate and participate in distributor trade shows and other marketing events organized by distributors
  • Gather Voice of Customer (VOC) feedback on industry trends and best practices through competitive analysis, focusing on price positioning, new product launches, and marketing activities
  • Ensure that all marketing activities comply with regulatory and legal requirements
  • Conduct training sessions for both internal sales teams and dealer partners’ sales and marketing teams, focusing on current and new products. Highlight key selling points, value propositions, and differentiators.

  • In-depth understanding of marketing principles, including digital marketing, branding, and sales enablement
  • Strong project management skills with a track record of successful marketing campaign execution
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret and modify data in excel to make informed decisions
  • Strong commercial skills with a high sales orientation, resulting in the ability to present information clearly to various audiences
  • Proven track record with downstream marketing delivering sales growth
  • Familiar with continuous improvement tools such as Kaizen, Problem Solving, and others
  • Ability to manage ambiguity, solve complex operational problems, and implement sustainable solutions
  • Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and capable of working independently to managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret market data to inform decisions
Qualifications

Job requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or 4+ years’ experience interacting with distribution partners in a marketing or equivalent compacity in lieu of education.
  • 3+ years of Marketing experience within distribution
  • Advanced Experience in MS Office, Tableau or other BI or data tools
  • Willingness to travel up to 15% domestically to meet with distributor partners and attend industry events.
  • Must reside within a commutable distance to Brea, CA/Pomona, CA. This is not a hybrid or remote opportunity
Preferred Skills
  • Familiar with EBS tools (Kaizens, PSP, Growth room, PSI)
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles, including digital marketing, branding, and sales enablement.
  • Exceptional project management skills with a track record of successful marketing campaign execution.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret and modify data in excel to make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong commercial skills as well as high sales orientation.

  • Professional expertise in digital marketing (web/staged campaigns/advertising) and public relations.
