Bitcredit Protocol is creating the decentralised credit money layer for the needs of trade, for the supply chains of the real economy. It targets the blind spots of fiat trade finance, which locks out many good businesses world-wide.

Bitcredit is built from the ground up on Bitcoin technologies and on Bitcoin principles: peer-to-peer, proof of work and verification. Bitcredit Core is the free, open source software for trade finance ready for beta launch.

We are looking for a Trade Finance & Customer Development Lead to connect Bitcredit with businesses which understand Bitcoin's bigger promise. This role combines deep familiarity with trade finance and bitcoin with a pragmatic, grounded approach to customer discovery and onboarding.

Your role will focus on:

• Identifying and engaging potential early adopters—producers, manufacturers, trading companies, importers, exporters—especially in countries facing currency instability
• Educating businesses and executives, understanding their pain points, and guiding them through pilot use of Bitcredit Core
• Positioning Bitcredit in clear, practical terms versus traditional fiat trade finance
• Collaborating with the product, legal, and community teams
• Ensuring that feature development and messaging reflect business needs, especially which the fiat system fails
• Helping to shape Bitcredit’s rollout strategy based on early customer feedback

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has strong experience in trade finance, supply chain credit, or cross-border B2B commerce
• Understands and wants Bitcoin not just as a store of value for the few, but as a medium of exchange—a better monetary system for all
• Is comfortable operating independently, and working in an early-stage startup environment
• Has experience working in or with high-inflation countries or regions where fiat alternatives or stablecoins are already in demand
• Can help businesses transition cautiously to a Bitcoin-denominated system, without overpromising or overselling—we are still early

Bonus points for:

• Experience in launching fintech products in emerging markets
• Familiarity with bills of exchange or invoice-based lending
• Sensitivity to cross-cultural and informal business environments
