Job summary

JPMorgan Chase in New York seeks a Trade Credit Risk Associate within Trade Credit Risk, Wholesale Credit Risk to provide independent credit judgment on working capital financing transactions and to support risk governance across product teams.

You will review originations, assess collateral and risk, advise on credit line requests, and monitor portfolio performance while contributing to policy development and training for internal partners.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in credit risk, trade risk, or structured finance.
• Strong credit analysis skills, including transaction structuring and risk identification.
• Experience or interest in structured working capital finance or related trade finance products.

Responsibilities

• Review new originations, renewals, and amendments for structured working capital transactions.
• Analyze documentation terms and identify risk mitigants for approvals.
• Advise first-line partners on credit line requests by assessing product structure and controls.
• Communicate risk views and propose solutions for pipeline transactions.
• Monitor transaction- and portfolio-level performance and emerging risks.
• Develop risk monitoring frameworks as the portfolio grows.
• Apply portfolio analytics and data-driven insights for monitoring and decision support.
• Evaluate variations from standard documentation and product guidelines and recommend decisions.
• Partner with stakeholders to assess new product structures and control solutions.
• Support rollout of new trade products and contribute to risk policies and controls.
• Deliver training on trade products and associated risks.
